“…the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.” -Revelation 5:8

Yesterday on the way to church, we passed through our old neighborhood.  There were many things that had changed…some for the better, most for the worst.  The biggest disappointment to me was to see the church my dad pastored for almost twenty years -a Bible believing, fundamental Baptist church…it has now become a Buddhist Temple.

Buddha is NOT the answer!  JESUS IS the answer.  HE is the only one who can satisfy your longing!

There used to be a White Spot restaurant across the street.  My dad took visiting evangelists, pastors, and missionaries there to eat and fellowship when they would come into town to hold revivals or conferences.  Many employees of that restaurant were saved in my dad’s church as a result of them witnessing these mighty men and women of God pray at the table and discuss the Word of God.  The church is now a dispensary of marijuana called, The Green Solution.

Marijuana is NOT the solution!  GOD IS the solution to all your problems!

I told my husband Mike, “My dad would roll over in his grave if he saw what has transpired here…in this place!”

Truth is, I believe he can see.  I believe that the saints in heaven pray for us Believers here, still in this world.  They pray for us to keep the faith.  To endure until we are taken up to heaven, be it in death, or at the time of the rapture.  In John 17:20-23, scripture bears out that Jesus Himself prays, and intercedes for all Believers.

If Jesus deems it important to pray for us, we as Believers should see the importance of praying for each other!

I urge you to be in fellowship with other Believers.  Pray for each other.  Prayer changes situations!
