Everyone now days is so worried about their health. Gym memberships, exercise videos, diet plans, Activity Trackers, and FitBit’s that calculate the number of steps you take in a given day are the gadgets of modern day man. These things are great to help us keep track of our success or failure at keeping our heart healthy, our minds clear, and our bodies lean and fit – like athletes and soldiers.
But this “heart health” concept is nothing new. God speaks of it often in the Bible. It is truly one of His main concerns in our lives!
In the matter of our Spiritual heart…
*We need to be around other Believers; instead of Gym memberships, we need Church fellowship!
* Instead of exercise videos…try exercising your Faith and Trust in God Almighty!
*Regarding diet plans…God says, ” Oh taste and see that the Lord is good!” -Psalm 34:8 God said: FEED YOUR SOUL by reading His Word! Most of us starve ourselves…we never read the Bible!
*Take every step of your day with God by your side! Let Him be the guide!
If you do these things, your spiritual heart will be healthy, your mind will have clarity, and your body will be fit to serve the King!
Romans 12:1 says this: “I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.”
