The poem below was written by Galyn Pfau’s mother, Sandy.  She wrote this poem several years before she passed into Glory to be with the Lord.  Today would have been her birthday-so this is in loving memory of you, Sandy!  Although you’re gone from our sight, your words live on!  We miss you dearly! -anita

I sit outside and pray

You will help me find a way

To be strong on that day

When it finally comes my way

My surgery, Be strong

It shouldn’t hurt for long

Now I have to be strong

I’ve put it off for so long

I shed a tear

In moments of fear

As the day comes near

Let me be clear

Do you hear?

As the day comes near

I’m still filled with fear

I need a word

Let me be heard

I hear the birds song

Nothings going to go wrong

Just listen to the birds sing

It’s the sweetest thing
