“Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.” -Ephesians 6:23, 24

The following is written by Joyce E. Watke. Enjoy!-anita

I thought today
Of friends who have meant so much to me
Along life’s pathway,
And my heart welled up in praise
To the Lord above,
And this is what I prayed:

“Dear Lord,

I thank you so for those in life
Who show me that they really care;
Who care enough to sweetly try
The burdens of my heart to bear.

I thank you, dear Lord, for those in life
Who look beyond the outer shell;
Who care enough to look within
And lend an ear, for my cares to tell.

I thank you most for each in life
Whose strength has made me strong…
Who cared enough to gently show me
What I needed when I was wrong.

And ever, may I be quick to be to someone else,
What those in life have meant to me.
May I lift them up and help them on
To walk more closely to Thee!
