“Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”  Psalm 37:7

Sometimes, I like to look at my old hymn book.  The words to the old songs strike a chord with me…(no pun intended!)   Here is one I was looking at today.  It was a traditional Hindi hymn.  In 1969, Martin West translated it into English, with the help of Hope Publishing Co.

To talk with God, no breath is lost, talk on, talk on, talk on!

To walk with God, no strength is lost, walk on, walk on, walk on!

To wait on God, no time is lost, wait on, wait on, wait on! -Martin West 1969

Thanks Mr. West!  This little song is a great reminder that whatever we do with God, or for God, is not wasted!
