Ok!  I admit it!  I am exhausted!

My dog keeps waking me up at around 3 a.m. to go outside.  At first, I didn’t mind…I thought he needed to do his business, and when you gotta go…you gotta go; but since I have stopped feeding him so late, I thought that nonsense would end.  Well…it hasn’t!  In fact, since the Spring weather has arrived, he has become worse, barking to go out at 2:30 a.m.

At first, I could not figure it out as I was half asleep.  But recently, I have paid more attention, and noticed that he doesn’t even do his business when we go out!  He wants to smell the fresh air, roll in the dewy grass, and stand and listen to the birds sing out their praise to God!  I like to do all those things too…but at a much more decent hour!

After five days in a row, I’d had it!  I was ready to ship him to parts unknown!  But we all know…I can’t do that!  He IS part of the family 🙂  So…this morning, I went to my Promise Box and pulled out this little gem.  It’s all I need for today…and I’m not supposed to worry about tomorrow.  I share it now, with you!

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid…(or worn out!)  Isa. 12:2

“In God I put my trust, I neither doubt…nor fear.  For man…(or dog!) can never harm, with God my Helper near.” -Unknown

I added the parentheses above for my own sanity! LOL

If you find yourself in a tired place, remember…God is our salvation.  HE can, and will make the rocky road smooth, and the winding path straight if we put our trust in Him!

So, trust in that fact, and have a great day!
