Revelation 12:11King James Version (KJV)

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

We were watching old Christmas movie classics over the Holidays.  I believe that one of my favorites is, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

I believe it to be so, because there are many things that happen in this movie, that I can identify with; such as, being poor, living in a ratty old house, never having enough.  Then, in my later years, thoughts of suicide, deep depression, despair…all hope gone, wishing I’d never been born, thinking everyone would be better off without me.

The guy in the movie felt the same way, and was on the bridge to end it all…and then God sent an angel down to George, and the angel showed him how his actions…his life…his very presence,  effected others, and all to the good of their lives.  The angel shows George just how badly their lives would have turned out, had he, (George) not been there to help and encourage them.

The things WE DO…or DO NOT DO, effect others!  We’ve all heard the old saying, “Actions speak louder than words…”  We are to be Living Bibles to those around us.

Remember Job in the Bible?  He lost EVERYTHING…even his children; but he kept his faith and trust in God.  Job lived thousands of years ago, yet his testimony still remains!  His actions effected folks around him then…and to those of us that know his story…his actions still effect us to this very day!

Each of us have our own story…testimony, if you will.  We are unique, and were created for a purpose that we alone can fill.

So…remember…when all hope seems to fail…God is in control!  If you trust IN Him…He will work everything out for your good.  Be sure of this, and know in your heart…with God…
