“I just wish I could go back and change what I did”… “I wish I could change what I said”….
Our past can have such a strong grip on our present. We are crippled by things that have happened. We wallow in past failures and stagnate in past glories.
Sometimes we all want a new start in life, a new beginning, a fresh start. The truth is, there are no restarts. We cannot go back to the past and fix anything. Yes, you can change your attitude about your past, but what happened, happened. You don’t get a reset.
When someone accepts Jesus we call it “born again” and our new life in Christ can do amazing things to the way we look at our past. We search for reasons, and try to find God’s purpose in the things we survived. But we cannot change the past.
What we can change is our present attitude. We can stop beating ourselves up because of the past and start living fully in Christ because of the future.
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
We don’t get a new beginning, but we CAN have a new ending. Give your life a new ending today!
Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Titus 2:13 While we wait for the blessed hope–the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
GET A NEW ENDING…TODAY!!
