“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; who FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the Father.”  Hebrews 12:2

Oh soul, are you weary and troubled?  No light in the darkness you see?  There’s light for a look at the Savior, and life more abundant and free!  Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face; and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace!” – Helen H. Lemmel, 1922

Are you facing a difficult time?  Remember in Matthew 12:22-23, when Peter was TRYING to walk on the water, then looked away from Jesus and began to sink?

When you feel like you are sinking, ask yourself…”In difficult times…where are my eyes?  Am I looking at my troubles…or at Jesus?”
