SPRING MAY 9, 2015

“Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  If then God so clothe the grass…how much more will He clothe you, O ye of little faith?”  Luke 12:27-28

Hair, the color of sunshine,

Eyes, cornflower blue;

Cheeks, kissed soft pink…like carnations,

Lips, tulip red.

A necklace of bluebells hangs about her neck, as she shakes her rain-drenched hair, and dons a garland of baby’s breath and a single rose…

Birds upon wing burst into song!

All of creation is reborn as she enters, wrapped in her coat of emerald-green, carrying a bouquet of Grape Hyacinth and Daffodils.

Feet shod with Lady Slippers,

Lavender is her perfume…

Her name is Spring.
